International Sales Agents




BURKELY has been established since 1988 by Horsten Leather Fashion who has been sharing its expertise since 1944. BURKELY is our Dutch brand for leather bags and expanding internationally with global ambitions. With that being said, we want to give our sales abroad a boost and therefore we’re looking for Sales Agents or importers to represent and sell our brand to off- & online retailers. Our focus is mainly aimed at the Fashion, Shoes and Accessories industries but we are also active in all relevant markets including bag specialty stores.


We offer two new collections every year. Our seasonal Autumn Winter & Spring Summer collections are mainly focussed on our female audience. In addition to our Seasonal Collection we offer our unisex Fundamentals NOOS collection with business- and schoolbags.



We’re looking for independent agents with sales talent who share our mindset and want to use their sales talents to spur our international growth in sales. As a Sales Agent for BURKELY you will join an experienced team in high qualitative products promotion. Selecting the trade fairs to represent BURKELY is in co-determination with our Sales Manager.


You will also be working with our marketing team as a sparring partner for marketing and sales collaborations. Our partners have access to our B2B webshop for (re-)orders where they can also download all visuals and product content for commercial purposes.


We are preferably recruiting for Sales Agents in France, Poland, Ireland, the U.K. and Sweden, but we are also open to extending our reach in other countries. Please check our website for countries that are already foreseen.


  • Establish relationships with new partners through cold acquisition or your customer portfolio
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing partners
  • Strive to improve customer satisfaction through excellent customer service: frequent visits/calls
  • Keep a high level of knowledge about existing products and learn about new products as they come in
  • Optimal order portfolio management;
  • Informing customers about our B2B dealer login for easy (re-)ordering
  • Provide our partners with POS materials for stores to stimulate sales
  • Partake in trade fairs in consultation with the BURKELY marketing team: national/international



  • Salesman qualifications are more important to us than your experience
  • English required! Knowledge of other relevant languages is an advantage. The spoken language of the country you’re going to work for is mandatory!
  • You have a customer focus and people skills
  • You are commercially minded, flexible and open minded
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • You prefer working in a young and dynamic environment, where critical thinking and adapting to change are key factors
  • Affinity and/or experience and a customer portfolio within the fashion, shoes, accessories, leather goods industry is a preference
  • Fulltime available (40hrs)
  • Own car for transportation of samples
  • In possession of an iPad
  • Owning a central based showroom in your country would be an advantage
