The bags in the MODEST MEGHAN collection are made of sustainable vegetable tanned leather, in line with the Leather Working Group's guidelines.  The vegetable tanning contains no chemicals that are harmful to the environment.  This plays a part in reducing our environmental footprint. We recommend treating the bag with a Carbon Wax spray to keep the leather as soft and supple as possible, and to protect against dirt and moisture. The MODEST MEGHAN HANDBAG serves well as a handbag with its strong handles but also features an adjustable and removable shoulder strap, so it's up to you to choose how you prefer to carry the bag: over your shoulder on the long strap, or with the sturdy shoulder handles.  The main compartment has a zip closure, and features a zip pocket, phone pocket and an open pocket.
